This is not an easy trial. In fact it will be the hardest trial of your child’s sporting life so far.
We are expecting 400 children to apply for 40 places – so you have a 1 in 10 chance of succeeding.
However, the rewards are huge.
There will be multiple trial dates through March 2025 with up to 100 children attending each trial.
The trials will be a mixture of evening and weekends for you to choose from.
All details of the trials, and what to bring, will be released prior to attendance.
All children will be given water bottles which are theirs to keep.
Successful children will be notified in April and be invited to the launch dinner where they will meet the other kids and families, be presented with their sholarship certificate, receive their team kit, and have their press and player photos taken.
The trial takes 90 minutes and will be as follows:
MEDICAL
✅ Medical assesment by a professional sports doctors.
✅ Psychological assesments to ensure they can handle the tough programme.
INTRO
✅ Introduce the coaching team.
✅ Discuss the programme and the commitments necessary.
GAMES
✅ Warm-up for the children
✅ Team games and drills.
TESTING
✅ Testing on athletic skills.
✅ Includes agility, strength, power, speed and more.
As well as this the coaches will be assessing the children for such things as their sportsmanship and team play.
As a parent you will be able to attend the trial, and log into the team portal to see the current results and standings live as they happen.
The top 20 ranked children overall
will automatically win a place in the programme.
The top 3 in each category
(e.g. the three strongest, three fastest) will automatically win a place in the programme.
The top 4 girls
will automatically win a place on the programme.
The remaining places
will be made up upon assessment by the coaches.

Firstly, if you are successful, congratulations. You are now amongst the top 10% of the country’s future sports stars.
The following will then happen
All successful children who have won a place on the programme are notified.
Our team manager will visit every successful family to personally congratulate them, explain the programme in more detail, and answer any questions you may have.
We will introduce your child to their mentor – a young athlete who is currently on a professional sporting career.
You will be given your welcome pack, programme schedule, and issued your squad number.
You will be invited onto the team WhatsApp group and given your login to the portal which gives up-to-the-minute data and results on your child and the session videos.
You and your child will be invited to the official launch dinner.
This is an opportunity to meet the other children, the parents, the coaches, the sponsors and press.
During the dinner each child will be invited to the front with their parents. They will sign their scholarship certificate, and be issued with their team kit (both their traning kit and their casual kit for travelling to traning and matches).
The players will have their professional photos taken in their new kit inclduing their team headshots.
The first month of training starts.
During the first session the players are fitted for their wearable technology which they keep throughout the programme. This monitors their movement, vital stats and progression.
Parents can log into the portal to see their latest results and stay informed.
