2026 National Elite Youth Rugby Trials
Following the success of our 2025 trials — which saw 100+ players from 11 counties and 56 schools — registration is now open for our 2026 intake. We are expanding our Academy squad by another 30 players, seeking the next generation of rugby talent to join the country’s number 1 youth rugby team.
Trial Details
Dates: Sunday 19th July and Sunday 2nd August from 1pm until 5pm
Players can attend 1 or both of the sessions
Location: National Sports Centre, Bisham Abbey
Pre-season Camp
From the trials, the top players will be invited to the 2-day pre-season camp, designed to “compress” a full season of tactical theory and team culture into 48 hours. This will include skills, theory, and playbook training plus final team selection for the season ahead.

Location: St Edwards School, Oxfordshire, in association with Gloucester Rugby Academy
Eligibility
Current School Year: Year 6 (Born Sept 2014 – Aug 2015)
Experience: Must be actively playing U11s (due to go into Under 12s) club or school rugby
